West Hills Hospital & Medical Center, a full-service acute care facility, announces John Neidenbach, as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Vice President as of April 17, 2017.
Neidenbach, is joining West Hills Hospital from Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California, where he oversaw daily operations for many hospital departments and served as the associate chief operating officer since 2015.
He has also been a part of HCA since 2012, starting at the Medical Center of Aurora as the assistant administrator and administrative fellow. Neidenbach holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Georgia.
“I am honored to take on the role as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at West Hills Hospital,” said Neidenbach. “I’m looking forward to working collectively with our team as we continue to grow our high quality health care services and distinguish our facility as the hospital of choice in our community.”
Neidenbach will be responsible for the hospital’s day-to-day operations as well as provide executive leadership and management to the staff. He will help the hospital ensure that the staff provides high-quality care and treats patients like family.

Neidenbach and his wife, Patricia, have relocated to Southern California. When he isn’t performing his professional duties at the hospital, he enjoys mountain biking, running and playing with their dog, Sadie.
