CareNow® Urgent Care, one of the nation’s largest urgent care networks, has announced the grand opening of a clinic in Simi Valley, California. The clinic opened on Tuesday, March 20, and will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the community on April 17 from 4-6 p.m.

CareNow® is a part of HCA Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest providers of health care services. The urgent care network operates in 15 U.S. markets, and the new Simi Valley clinic — located at 2888 Cochran Street — is the second CareNow® Urgent Care facility in the area. The other local clinic opened in Thousand Oaks in 2017. In this region, CareNow® is affiliated with Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center and West Hills Hospital & Medical Center.

“As health care continues to evolve, consumers are looking for quality, convenient options for care and treatment,” said CareNow® President Tim Miller. “In Southern California, we are proud to partner with Los Robles and West Hills hospitals, which have built their health care systems around quality care, convenience and access for patients.”

CareNow® physicians and other care professionals provide urgent care — quick care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, such as sprains and strains, minor burns, lacerations, sore throats and flu-like symptoms — as well as physicals, vaccinations, and general diagnostic and treatment services. The clinics have X-ray and lab services on-site. CareNow® clinics also provide occupational medicine services to local employers, including examinations and treatment of injured workers in workers’ compensation cases, pre-employment screenings and drug tests.

CareNow® Urgent Care clinics are open seven days a week, and hours extend into the evening. CareNow® was founded in 1993 and was acquired by HCA Healthcare in 2015. It is now the national brand for urgent care services across HCA Healthcare. To find out more about the clinic, please visit CareNow.
